Full Job Description Job Summary:

Envision Honda of Milpitas is seeking a Parts Counterman to join our team in Milpitas, California. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission in the auto industry. The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor with a strong knowledge of automotive parts and exceptional customer service skills. As a Parts Counterman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive efficient and accurate service.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and determine their parts needs Lookup, locate, and order parts from suppliers Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient Consistently provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting with parts selection Process parts orders and payments accurately and efficiently Collaborate with other departments, such as service and sales, to ensure timely delivery of parts Keep the parts department clean and organized Stay up-to-date on new products and technologies in the automotive industry Assist in creating special promotions and displays to attract customers Follow all safety guidelines and company policies

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a Parts Counterman or in a related field preferred Strong knowledge of automotive parts, including part numbers, functions, and compatibility Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Excel and inventory management systems Detail-oriented and organized Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time Valid driver's license and clean driving record
