  • ProAmpac in Ontario (US), CA, is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our talented Maintenance team.

We are committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement. In this role, you would primarily be responsible for responding coordinate work requests, orders, contractors, parts ordering and inventory for our 24/7 maintenance team/operation.

  • Essential Duties and Tasks:
  • + Organize repair and maintenance work for smooth, efficient operations; tracks all time and materials used to perform work orders and other repairs using both manual and electronic means.

+ Update work order status verbally, in writing and through Company tracking systems and apps (Velocity, Maintemyzer, Excel lists, Teams, emails, and texts)

+ Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts needed for maintenance team in a proactive manner, communicating with maintenance techs, production leads and manager as to status of orders and developing inventory levels.

+ Coordinate OEM technicians for repairs and troubleshooting

+ Manage and coordinate outside contractors for onsite jobs, ensuring company requirements are met and work performed per work order/scope

+ Actively participate in regular meetings and safety trainings and programs

  • Skills and Abilities:
  • + Be experienced and working knowledge of tools, hand tools and machinery parts.

+ Have a working knowledge of Print Press and Extrusion Machines, is a plus!

+ Have the ability to utilize computers to check and enter work orders, look up parts, check emails and instructions and/or complete safety training and submit reports.

+ Utilize Maintemyzer work order system, write gramatically correct emails in a professional style

+ Communicate with diplomacy and be able to negotiate pricing and delivery

Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm

  • Wage:
  • + Starting at $24-30 per hour, DOE
