Position Summary:
The Parts & Service Sales Representative focuses on building and maintaining relationships with customers, selling parts and supporting the service manager by managing the work order process from creation of the work to completion of the work order process. This role is a customer facing position that requires strong interpersonal skills that delivers exceptional customer service and drives revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Parts & Customer Support Respond to customer calls, emails, and walk-ins requesting parts for crushers, screens, stackers, trommels, and related conveying equipment. Identify correct parts using manuals, exploded-view diagrams, serial number lookups, and dealer parts catalogs. Prepare accurate parts quotes, process orders, and track backorders, freight, and expedited shipping needs. Cross-reference wear parts (jaw dies, mantles, screen media, liners, belts, idlers, bearings) across OEM and aftermarket suppliers. Maintain and monitor stocking levels for high-turnover wear and maintenance parts. Process warranty parts claims and returns in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Service Writing & Work Order Management Greet customers and gather detailed information on equipment issues, symptoms, and service history to open accurate work orders. Communicate with customers throughout the repair process, including diagnosis findings, estimates, approvals for additional work, and completion timing. Review technician time and parts entries for accuracy before closing and invoicing work orders. Coordinate with the service manager on job costing, labor rates, and estimate-versus-actual variances. Track open work orders, follow up on aging jobs, and ensure timely closure and billing. Develop and maintain working knowledge of crushing, screening, stacking, and trommel equipment — components, common failure points, and maintenance intervals. Administrative & Team Support Maintain accurate records in the ERP for parts sales, work orders, and customer equipment files. Process invoices, credits, and customer statements related to parts and service transactions. Collaborate with sales, rental, and service manager to support whole-goods delivery, pre-delivery inspections, and post-sale support. Uphold shop safety standards and support a clean, organized parts counter and service write-up area.
Pay:
Up to $85,000.00 per year
