ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(The following duties for the position listed shall include but are not limited to) Greet and assist all walk in guest inquiries with an attitude of great service while providing add-on suggestions.
Lightspeed functions:
Build invoices, Cashier, Locate parts, Look up parts and use as follow-up tool. Track all pending orders & follow-up with guest on arrival or E.T.A. of part. Maintain Parts sales floor and specific assigned section. (clean, price label, organized, older or overstocked inventory placed on sale & merchandised in an appealing manner.) Ensure a proper handover of a guest from all Motorcycle sales personnel also log, provide business cards and follow-up. Count all pertinent inventory on hand and report accurate quantities to supervisor daily.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Complete all online O.E.M. and Product training pertinent to position. Review daily checklist. Restock parts products. Assist guests with returns or exchanges. Serve as back-up parts phone/apparel sales personnel. Research/stay up to date with all current model year units & new products. Continually train/review basic selling skills and advance closing techniques. Consistently research new sales opportunities to grow the departments over the counter sales or to generate new/more leads. Prepare station with all necessary Parts catalogues and manuals for call efficiency. Assist parts counter with S.O. pick-ups. Process warranty claims on products.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee will predominantly be walking or standing. Required to be able to talk and hear, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; Climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent Prefer computer literacy Prefer interest or experience in sales and Powersports industry Solid communication skills. This position reports directly to the Parts Manager
