Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Counter associate to join our team in Vernon, CA. This role will primarily support Sonsray Fleet Services/Thermo King. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians with their parts needs, ensuring efficient inventory management, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and obtaining the correct parts for their equipment. Process parts orders, including looking up parts, checking availability, and handling transactions. Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular stock checks. Receive and stock new parts shipments, ensuring proper organization and storage. Address customer inquiries and resolve any parts-related issues in a professional and timely manner. Collaborate with the service department to ensure parts are available when needed for repairs. Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a parts counter role, preferably within a dealership or heavy equipment environment. Strong knowledge of parts and mechanical components. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using parts catalogs and inventory management systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and move heavy parts as required. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.
