In this role, you will be responsible for assembling small aerospace components with accuracy and efficiency while managing inventory levels to ensure seamless production flow. Responsibilities Assemble small aerospace parts using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment according to detailed blueprints and schematics. Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing instructions, and production documents to ensure precise assembly and quality standards are met. Measure components with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions against specifications. Conduct mechanical assembly tasks including soldering, machining, and using shop math for accurate part fabrication. Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking parts movement, updating stock levels, and organizing storage areas efficiently. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently and follow safety protocols during all manual handling and assembly processes. Support quality control by inspecting parts for defects, verifying measurements, and ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards. Qualifications Proven experience with calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and interpreting blueprints or schematics. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly processes involving hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools. Familiarity with blueprint reading, shop math, machining techniques, soldering processes, and the use of precision measuring instruments. Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents accurately in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety procedures including proper PPE use during manual handling and assembly tasks. Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or similar precision-driven industries is preferred but not required.
