Inform customers about companion part requirements and specials,and expose them to the full product line. Review body shop estimates to ensure parts ordered are correct and pricing aligns with estimates. Deliver high levels of service to both internal and external customers. Pull and fill orders from stock. Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention. Locate out-of-stock parts from external sources and submit emergency orders if necessary. Notify service advisors and customers when special-ordered parts arrive. Follow up on back-ordered parts. Verify will-call and back-order files weekly; return or restock items not picked up or required. Replenish assigned inventory daily. Ensure all internal parts requests are billed on service repair orders. Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization. Ensure all sales charges are signed by customers and that customers receive their invoice copies. Issue credit for returned parts, verifying the original invoice or number for accuracy. Maintain orderly records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order parts. Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up. Work with the parts manager to maintain a lost sales tracking program.Job Qualifications:
CDK Preferred Ability to perform arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Job Requirements:
