Parts Counter / Sales Representative Unlimited Truck Parts West Palm Beach, FL Job Details Full-time From $16 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Packing Driver's License Attention to detail Organizational skills Picking & packing Full Job Description About Us Unlimited Truck Parts is a heavy-duty truck and equipment parts supplier serving repair shops, fleets, owner-operators, and commercial customers throughout South Florida and beyond. We are seeking a Parts Counter / Sales Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with parts, automotive, diesel, or sales experience who enjoys working with customers and is interested in building a career in heavy-duty parts sales. Position Overview The Parts Counter / Sales Representative is responsible for assisting customers with identifying, quoting, and purchasing the correct parts for their needs. The position includes a combination of counter sales, phone sales, customer service, parts lookup, order processing, inventory support, and local deliveries . As training progresses, the representative will also focus on developing customer relationships, following up on sales opportunities, and growing their customer base. Responsibilities Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries and orders Identify and locate the correct parts using catalogs, vendor resources, and parts lookup systems Prepare quotes and process customer orders Follow up on quotes, orders, and customer inquiries Build and maintain relationships with existing customers Develop new sales opportunities and customer accounts Maintain knowledge of product lines, pricing, and availability Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory Pull and prepare customer orders for pickup, delivery, or shipment Complete local customer delivery runs as needed Maintain accurate order and customer information Work with purchasing, inventory, and management to ensure customer needs are handled efficiently Provide professional and reliable customer service throughout the sales process Qualifications Previous parts counter, automotive, diesel, heavy-duty truck, equipment, or related experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Sales and/or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate confidently with customers in person and over the phone Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable using computers and learning parts lookup and inventory systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable and professional Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to lift and handle truck parts and inventory as needed Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Compensation & Training This position begins with guaranteed hourly compensation during the training period . Training will include product knowledge, parts identification and lookup, inventory systems, quoting, order processing, customer service, and sales procedures. Once fully trained, the position will transition to a sales-based compensation plan with a guaranteed draw plus commission , offering increased earning potential based on individual sales performance. Specific compensation details, commission structure, and performance expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Schedule Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week Regular business hours are Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-5:00 PM Occasional Saturday coverage from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM When Saturday coverage is scheduled, weekday hours may be adjusted accordingly In-person position
