Position Responsibilities The Parts Consultant is responsible for assisting retail customers, wholesale customers, technicians, service advisors, and internal dealership departments with parts needs. This position plays an important role in supporting the service department and ensuring parts are looked up, billed, ordered, received, and delivered accurately.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers and dealership personnel with parts inquiries
• Looking up parts using dealership and manufacturer catalog systems
• Billing parts accurately to repair orders, counter tickets, and invoices
• Pulling, staging, and delivering parts to technicians
• Ordering parts as needed for customer vehicles and dealership inventory
• Checking part availability, pricing, and estimated arrival times
• Receiving and stocking parts inventory
• Maintaining accurate records of ordered, received, returned, and special-order parts
• Communicating with service advisors and technicians regarding parts status
• Assisting with returns, cores, warranty parts, and special-order parts
• Maintaining an organized and professional parts counter and inventory area
• Following dealership policies, processes, and procedures Qualifications Qualified candidates should have:
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer and phone skills
• Ability to work well with service advisors, technicians, customers, and management
• Automotive parts experience preferred
• GM parts experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
• Bilingual ability is always a plus
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
