ABOUT THE ROLE

The Parts Counterperson will assist customers, technicians, and the Service department with identifying, locating, and ordering automotive parts. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist retail and wholesale customers with automotive parts needs Identify and locate the correct parts using electronic catalogs and dealership systems Assist technicians and Service Advisors with parts requests Prepare and process parts orders accurately Check parts availability, pricing, and estimated delivery times Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders and availability Receive, inspect, label, and properly store incoming parts Process returns, exchanges, and special orders Maintain accurate inventory and assist with inventory counts Keep the Parts department clean and organized Provide professional and helpful customer service Follow dealership and Volkswagen policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous automotive parts experience preferred, but not required Basic knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems Strong customer service and communication skills Good computer and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude Valid driver's license preferred
