Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing automotive, heavy equipment and trailer parts inventory, sourcing parts efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service to internal teams and external clients. Your expertise in supply chain management, automotive diagnostics, and parts administration will ensure seamless operations across our warehouse and procurement processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where mechanical knowledge and logistics skills drive success. Duties Manage inventory levels using inventory management systems and ERP platforms, ensuring accurate data entry and stock control. Source automotive parts and accessories through OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) channels and internal procurement processes, negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers. Coordinate logistics for shipping & receiving, ensuring timely delivery of parts while maintaining optimal warehouse organization. Support demand planning and procurement management by analyzing usage patterns and forecasting future needs. Assist with automotive diagnostics to identify parts requirements accurately and troubleshoot equipment repair issues when necessary. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to track parts usage, maintenance schedules, and equipment repairs. Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to facilitate order management, part sourcing, and internal communication. Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse management, or automotive parts administration. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and automotive service procedures. Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP software, and logistics inventory management tools such as CMMS. Hands-on experience with forklift operation and equipment repair is preferred. Excellent negotiation skills for procurement management and supplier negotiations. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive parts and accessories is essential for success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel for data entry and analysis. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong internal communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments such as sales, sourcing, shipping & receiving, and customer service. $25.62 - $30.86 per hour
