Automotive Parts Advisor Savannah, GA An established automotive dealership in the Savannah area is currently seeking an experienced Parts Advisor for a full-time opportunity. This position is best suited for someone with previous dealership or automotive parts experience who is comfortable working in a busy service environment. The Parts Advisor will be responsible for assisting technicians, service personnel, and customers with parts identification, ordering, inventory, and related transactions. Responsibilities Look up and identify parts needed for vehicle repairs and maintenance Provide parts support to technicians and service personnel Process retail and wholesale parts requests Order parts and track special and backordered items Receive, verify, and process incoming parts orders Maintain accurate records for sales, returns, special orders, and inventory Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and stock organization Communicate parts availability and estimated arrival times to appropriate departments Work with vendors and manufacturers when sourcing unavailable or hard-to-find parts Maintain an organized parts counter and storage area Follow established department procedures and safety requirements Requirements Previous automotive parts experience required Dealership parts department experience preferred Working knowledge of automotive parts and components Experience with electronic parts catalogs Previous DMS experience preferred; CDK experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities throughout the day Good communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
