ASSOCIATE

POSITION PURPOSE

The Parts Associate is responsible for assisting customers and service technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts for forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer customer calls and assist with identifying and ordering the correct parts Support field and shop technicians by researching and locating parts needed for service and repair work orders Place and maintain stock orders Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts shipments Locate parts throughout the warehouse and maintain accurate inventory Keep the parts department and warehouse clean, organized, and efficient Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to both customers and technicians

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous inventory control or parts experience is preferred Forklift/material-handling industry experience is a plus (Forklift or heavy-equipment parts experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work well with customers, technicians, and other team members Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and technology
