Parts Clerk Job Description A Parts Clerk is responsible for receiving parts and materials, keeping inventory records up to date, and distributing items to employees when needed. They enter incoming materials into the company's database and make sure inventory is accurately tracked. When parts or materials are moved to a production area, the Parts Clerk also records them in the system to maintain accurate inventory levels. Responsibilities Receive materials and parts into the facility. Maintain accurate inventory records. Dispense parts and materials to other workers within the company. Strong customer service skills. Data entry experience. Experience with forklift operations. Knowledge of parts inventory. Experience in shipping and receiving. Work Environment The role is based outdoors on the ports, working the 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a mandatory half shift on Sundays from 6:00am to 12:00pm. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
