Starting Salary:

$60,000 - $70,000 annually (depending on knowledge and experience)

Schedule:

We are a busy, customer-focused shop that prides itself on fast turnaround and doing the job right the first time, and the Parts Advisor is a critical position to achieve this. We are looking for someone who is sharp with parts sourcing and inventory to help keep our bays moving.

What You'll Do:

Exemplify Cassill Motors Core Values of Continuous Improvement, Passionate Drive, Focus, Initiative, and Respect for People, in every aspect of job performance Source and order the right parts for repair orders quickly and accurately, balancing cost, quality, and availability Build and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and vendors to get the best pricing and turnaround times Track inventory levels, manage returns, and keep the parts room organized Work closely with technicians and service advisors to confirm part numbers, specs, and fitment before ordering Handle warranty claims and returns with suppliers Keep repair orders updated with accurate parts pricing and status With a sense of urgency, follow up on backordered or delayed parts to keep jobs on schedule Work scheduled hours, including additional hours as needed, and report to work on time to meet job expectations Follow all company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment Perform other duties, as assigned

What We're Looking For:

High School diploma or GED At least one (1) year of experience working with automotive parts, whether at a dealership, parts store, or independent shop Ability to use a computer and enter information efficiently Familiarity with parts catalogs and ordering systems (WorldPac, PartsTech, OEM portals, or similar) A valid driver's license and clean driving record, required (occasional parts runs) Forklift experience helpful, but not required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective listening skills to accurately understand job needs Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Effective at problem solving Ability to work professionally and respectfully with others while demonstrating positive interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively with all team members and management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to reliably commute to work and work the necessary hours to ensure job is accomplished timely and within performance standards

Standing, sitting, and walking, as needed Steadily use wrists, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, and grip objects, tools, parts, and other components and to perform work, including typing, regularly Bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stretch, push, pull, crouch, crawl, and reach, regularly Talk effectively, hear/listen and understand, and smell, regularly Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision (distinguish colors), peripheral vision, depth perception, 3-dimensional vision (judge distances and spatial relationships), and the ability to adjust focus Lift and carry up to 50 lbs., occasionally Capable of operating vehicles safely within and around the shop Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), as needed

Work Environment:

Work in an environment where extreme temperatures range seasonally from hot to cold, where conditions may be damp and/or wet, and concrete floors may be slippery in some areas.
