Job Summary We are seeking an Experimental Parts Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by coordinating experimental parts and builds, maintaining manufacturing routings, managing production inventory, and helping resolve part and process issues. This position is ideal for someone with a manufacturing, production, engineering, CAD, or technical background who is comfortable working with engineering drawings, manufacturing data, inventory, and shop-floor operations. Key Responsibilities Create and update manufacturing routings for experimental builds. Coordinate parts, materials, and production requirements. Monitor production inventory and forecast future material needs. Maintain accurate inventory and material transfer records. Coordinate purchased parts and stock availability. Review engineering drawings, part prints, and manufacturing documentation. Support fabrication and manufacturing operations. Generate and support fabrication programs. Troubleshoot part requests and manufacturing issues. Diagnose and resolve issues with manufacturing routings and laser programs. Prepare daily and weekly manufacturing reports. Use Excel to track production, inventory, and operational data. Maintain manufacturing and inventory information in SAP or related systems. Design and model simple parts for shop-use applications when needed. Work with manufacturing, engineering, production, and supply management teams to resolve issues and keep builds moving. Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing or production operations. Experience with manufacturing routings or production documentation. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, tracking, and data analysis. Knowledge of inventory management and material tracking. Experience working with computer-based manufacturing or ERP systems. Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing part requests, routings, or fabrication programs. Ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings and part prints. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP or another manufacturing ERP system. Experience with Creo, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software . Experience with Lantek or similar sheet-metal programming software . Experience with Power BI . Knowledge of sheet-metal fabrication and manufacturing processes. Mechanical, manufacturing, or engineering technology background. Experience designing or modeling simple shop-use parts. Associate degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting , or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
