Parts Counter Associate Job Description:
The Parts Counter Associate is responsible for supporting the service department and wholesale customers. In this position, your responsibilities include quoting, selling and stocking parts. Responsibilities:
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish Work with technicians to identify parts accurately Complete special order part requests Communicate with the service department on parts status Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner Follow all company safety policies and procedures Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the industry
Requirements:
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus Ability to identify problems quickly Knowledge of automobiles Effective analytical and communication skills Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Positive, friendly attitude High school diploma or equivalent Experience with auto parts sales (preferred) Strong organizational and time management skills Detail-oriented, with a professional appearance and strong work ethic
Compensation :
Salary:
$50,000-$70,000
