Busy Schedule, Full Bays for REAL Earning Potential. NO Weekends, M-F schedule, 7:30 am
•5 pm. Hourly pay + team bonus. Air Conditioned, Clean, New Construction, 15 bay shop. $2,340 tax-free annual tool reimbursement. 401(k) with a 100% company match up to 5% of employee pay. What You Bring to the Team Willard Garage is hiring a General Service Technician to take ownership of routine maintenance and light repair work, perform thorough digital vehicle inspections (DVIs), and maintain our shop's high standards of quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
3+ years of hand-on experience servicing Domestic, Asian, and European passenger cars and light trucks.
Tools & Equipment:
Possess a tool box or cart with a basic mechanics tool set.
Credentials:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, no exceptions.
Key Traits:
Attendance and punctuality, high attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude. Maintains a clean and organized work space.
Daily Focus:
Approximately 70% basic maintenance: Digital vehicle inspections, oil and filter services, fluid services, tires and tire repairs, road-force balancing, batteries, wipers, bulbs, and filters. Approximately 20% light mechanical repair: Brake repairs, light suspension and steering work, cooling-system repairs, external engine components such as belts, pulleys, and sensors. Approximately 10% basic testing and diagnostics: basic battery, starter, and alternator testing. Code retrieval and guided diagnostic procedures. Compensation The realistic earning range for this position is $45,000
•60,000 annually.
Compensation includes:
Hourly pay based on experience. Team performance bonus paid every 2 weeks that commonly range from $50
•150 per 2 week pay period. Quarterly performance reviews. Additional earning potential for ASE certifications License/Certification/Experience Valid driver's license required (must be insurable by our carrier). Basic tool box and basic mechanics tool set. AC609 Certification is a plus, but not required. ASE Certifications are a plus, but are not required. 3+ years experience required
