CONTINGENT
on contract award. The Tools and Parts Attendant supports
F-15E TCTO
modification operations at Mountain Home AFB, ID or Seymour Johnson AFB, NC by receiving, storing, issuing, accounting for, inspecting, and controlling tools, parts, shop supplies, measuring devices, and related equipment. This labor category is Mission Essential. A sample of duties include, but are not limited to: Receive, store, issue, and account for tools, measuring devices, replacement parts, shop supplies, and related equipment. Maintain accurate records of tools/parts issued, returned, transferred, or otherwise controlled through the tool room. Perform assigned inventories and maintain 100% tool accountability IAW Tool Control and FOD requirements. Support required start/end-of-shift inventory controls; the same individual will not perform both inventories for the same shift when prohibited by the PWS. Initiate/report missing-tool actions and inspect tools/equipment for wear, damage, calibration/status, or other discrepancies. Identify, preserve, tag/mark, store, and issue tools, equipment, and parts; maintain orderly and secure storage areas. Comply with safety, security, HAZMAT, property-control, and local operating requirements; support TDY as required. Must have working knowledge of tool/parts accountability, inventory, storage, issue/receipt, and missing-tool control practices. Must be able to identify tool/equipment wear or defects and use basic measuring devices when required. Must maintain accurate records and secure controlled tools, parts, and equipment. Experience Relevant tool room, parts, inventory, warehouse, or maintenance-support experience is required. Experience issuing/receiving tools or parts and maintaining accurate accountability records is required. Experience inspecting tools/equipment for condition and supporting inventory or Tool Control programs is required. DoD or Air Force Tool Control/FOD experience is preferred. Licenses & Certifications Must have a valid state driver's license when required by assignment. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must possess and maintain a SECRET or interim SECRET security clearance. Must satisfy applicable Tier 3 background investigation, CAC, restricted-area badge, and Government system-access requirements. Must be able to obtain required flightline/equipment operator authorization when assigned. Must complete and maintain all PWS-required site, safety, security, and technical training/certifications applicable to assigned duties.
