In this role, you will leverage your automotive knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, and organizational expertise to ensure a seamless parts purchasing experience. Duties Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct auto parts and accessories using electronic and paper catalog systems, informational websites , and product knowledge. Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts displays to ensure availability and easy access for customers and technicians. Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit, or electronic payments with professionalism. Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance, automotive parts, and automotive service options to help customers make informed decisions. Coordinate order fulfillment by processing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to meet customer needs. Maintain effective communication with customers and associates using phone etiquette, email correspondence, and organizational skills. Support wholesale or retail sales initiatives through marketing efforts, upselling techniques, and promoting special offers or promotions. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive parts and / or service experience is highly valued. ASE Certification is a plus. Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times. Strong organizational skills to multitask efficiently. Familiarity with online parts catalogs. Demonstrated negotiation skills to assist customers in selecting suitable products while maximizing sales opportunities. Knowledge of retail sales principles including cashiering, cash handling, customer service excellence, and phone etiquette. Ability to work in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Pay:

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
