• Friday, 50 hr work week, start time between 630a-730a

Position Summary:

To assist parts supervisor in maintaining and coordinating inventories at all shop locations, including the distribution center in such a way as to balance the cost of inventory on hand with the cost of downed equipment waiting on parts. To secure the lowest pricing available on the most adequate product.

Responsibilities:

Secure lowest pricing on parts and materials Negotiate contract pricing Place and purchase parts orders with vendors for outside shops Coordinates inventories in distribution center and outside shops Assist in setup of inventories for new locations Assist in coordinating annual inventory count at all locations Placing non-stock parts orders Research pricing on specific orders Assist Warranty Administration Follow up and track orders for multiple locations Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

High School completion or equivalent Working knowledge of inventory control procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for internal and external customers Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work as part of a team or independently Ability to react to change productively Excellent attendance

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

May require travel to regional terminals. Weekend and night hours occasionally required.
