We are looking for a dependable, organized Parts Person to join our diesel repair team. This position is essential to keeping our shop running efficiently by ensuring technicians have the correct parts when they need them and that all work is accurately documented and billed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and track parts inventory. Order parts for diesel mechanics ina timely manner. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding parts and repair updates. Ensure all parts are accurately billed and invoiced. Prepare detailed repair orders by documenting services performe.d EWnter accurate labor operations and labor times on work orders. Coordinate with technicians to ensure parts are available when needed. Work with vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery information. Keep the parts department clean, organized, and efficient.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities Basic computer skills and the ability to learn shop management software. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work well in a fast paced environment. Experience in heavy-duty truck, diesel, automotive, or equipment parts is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
