Overview Join our dynamic team as a Parts Specialist, where your expertise will drive the seamless operation of our RV parts department. In this energetic role, you will be the key to ensuring our customers and technicians receive the right parts efficiently, supporting vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a positive shopping experience while maintaining accurate inventory control. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your RV knowledge and sales skills in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Duties Assist customers in locating and selecting the correct RV parts and accessories, providing exceptional customer service with clear communication and product knowledge Manage inventory levels through accurate stock stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory control using tools like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) systems Negotiate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely procurement of parts, optimizing sales management strategies and retail math principles Process transactions efficiently at the cashier station, handling cash, credit card payments, and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures Support vehicle maintenance and RV repair operations by providing technical advice on RV diagnostics and RV service procedures Maintain organized shelves, clean work areas, and ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment to uphold safety standards Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives to promote parts specials or seasonal promotions, enhancing dealership visibility Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to diverse customers Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, order processing, and sales analysis Knowledge of RV diagnostics, RV repair, and RV maintenance procedures Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and stock replenishment efficiently Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving a diverse customer base Demonstrated negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and customers effectively Retail sales experience combined with dealership or automotive service background is highly desirable Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Strong phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone or in person confidently This Parts Specialist role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the RV industry.
