Job Summary Don Franklin Somerset Nissan is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the service department, as well as customers who are seeking automotive parts and accessories. Your enthusiasm for providing expert guidance and customer service, combined with strong organizational skills, will help ensure our service technician and customers receive the right parts quickly and efficiently to support their vehicle maintenance and repair needs. Applicants must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Hourly pay rate will be based on prior experience and will be discussed during the interview process, as well as monthly commission structure. Duties Assist service technicians and customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories, offering expert advice based on vehicle make, model, and specific needs Manage inventory levels through accurate stock control, order fulfillment, and parts management systems Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product recommendations, and personalized service Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems while handling cash, credit, or electronic payments responsibly Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales, and inventory using dealership management software Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely availability of parts for ongoing repairs and maintenance Requirements Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and troubleshooting techniques Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly valued Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships through effective client communication and service excellence Organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and maintain accurate records Retail math skills for pricing, discounts, and transaction handling Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license Join us as an Automotive Parts Advisor to be part of a thriving team dedicated to delivering top-tier service in a fast-paced environment.
