Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Parts Specialist to join our team. As a Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for serving customer parts needs both in person and by phone, coordinating shipping and receiving, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Your role will also involve utilizing various software systems to order and track parts. This is a vital position within our organization which ensures that the needs of our customers and our service department are met in a courteous and timely manner.Responsibilities:
- Ordering, receiving, and distributing parts
- Shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely delivery of parts
- Inspect incoming parts shipments for accuracy
- Maintain accurate inventory records software systems
- Stock parts displays, maintain parts retail area and warehouse
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Utilize AS400 or similar systems to sell and track parts and to manage inventory levels
- Maintain safe and efficient warehouse processes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; background check, physical, and drug screen
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a customer service/sales role with warehouse, shipping and receiving experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction equipment components and parts strongly preferred
- Proficiency in using forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail as well as ability to work independently
- Experience with supplier management and maintaining positive relationships with vendors is a plus
- Familiarity with computerized billing, inventory, and ordering system is required
Note:
This individual will be on call alternating weeks- occasional overtime may be required.

Full-time Pay:
$20.00- $25.
