Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Autoparts Counterperson to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the vital link between customers and the automotive parts they need to keep their vehicles running smoothly. Your enthusiasm for automotive parts, combined with your exceptional customer service skills, will ensure every customer leaves satisfied and confident in their purchase. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying the correct auto parts and accessories for their vehicles Maintain an organized inventory of parts, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage Provide expert advice on product features, compatibility, and installation procedures Process sales transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems, including handling returns and exchanges Collaborate with technicians and other team members to fulfill special orders and manage backorders effectively Keep the work area clean, safe, and well-organized to promote a professional environment Stay informed about new products, industry trends, and technical updates to better serve customers Requirements Proven experience as an autoparts counterperson or in a similar automotive retail role Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and vehicle makes/models Excellent communication skills with a friendly, helpful attitude Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications Basic computer skills for inventory management and sales processing Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed A valid driver's license is preferred but not required; willingness to learn about vehicle parts is essential Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering top-notch service!
