Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Auto Parts Counterperson to join our team. In this role, you will be the vital link between customers and our extensive inventory of automotive parts and accessories. Your enthusiasm for cars and exceptional customer service skills will drive sales and ensure a seamless parts experience for our clients. Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories based on their vehicle needs. Manage inventory control by stocking parts accurately and maintaining organized storage areas. Process sales transactions efficiently using cdk. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product knowledge, and personalized service. Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely parts availability for vehicle repairs and maintenance. Maintain detailed records of sales, inventory levels, and customer interactions using inventory management software CDK. Stay informed about automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and repair procedures to better assist customers with technical questions. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive repair processes and vehicle maintenance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers. Organizational skills to manage inventory effectively and keep work areas tidy. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive customer relationships. Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving a diverse clientele.
