Job Description
Job Overview USA Auto Recycling Inc. is a growing used auto parts recycling company specializing in quality recycled auto parts. We are seeking an experienced Auto Dismantler to join our team. This position involves dismantling vehicles, identifying and testing reusable auto parts, fulfilling customer orders, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Previous auto dismantling experience is required. Responsibilities Safely dismantle vehicles and remove reusable auto parts for resale. Remove engines, transmissions, doors, hoods, bumpers, suspensions, and other vehicle components. Prioritize and dismantle requested parts based on customer orders and sales requirements. Drain engine oil, transmission fluid, and other vehicle fluids following company safety and environmental procedures. Test engines, transmissions, and other components when required. Clean, inspect, and identify reusable auto parts before inventory. Operate forklifts, engine hoists, and other lifting equipment safely when moving vehicles and heavy parts. Update inventory records when necessary, including removing damaged or unavailable parts from the inventory system. Assist walk-in customers by removing requested auto parts when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE at all times. Skills & Qualifications Previous auto dismantling experience is required. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle components. Experience dismantling engines, transmissions, and other major vehicle components. Ability to inspect and identify reusable auto parts for resale. Experience testing engines, transmissions, and other automotive components. Experience using hand tools, air tools, and power tools safely. Ability to operate forklifts, engine hoists, and other lifting equipment. Basic computer skills for updating inventory records when necessary. Ability to lift heavy auto parts and work in a physically demanding environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
