The Maintenance Technicians role requires effective and careful evaluation in response to a broad range of maintenance needs to assist the Service Manager with the efficient operation of property. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas of routine, preventative and emergency maintenance: Electrical Plumbing HVAC Appliance Repair Locks & Keys Basic Carpentry Painting and Drywall Repair Janitorial, Grounds and Snow Removal Cleaning Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the buildings common areas and other assigned areas; Maintains exterior grounds according to company standards. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED; Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field with a minimum of 3 years and related job experience. Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both written and verbal; Solid computer skills; Excellent customer service skills a must; Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal; Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter; Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field; On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays; Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner. Reliable vehicle needed to perform essential duties of the position.
