Job Description
Jim Coleman Nissan of Ellicott City is hiring a Parts Associate! Jim Coleman Automotive is a 3rd generation family-owned dealership. The Coleman family has been selling and servicing cars in the Washington-Metropolitan, and Bethesda areas since the 1950s. We are a local leader in automotive retail, looking to add qualified professionals to our team. Jim Coleman Automotive is a company that offers a fantastic team environment, great benefits, and ongoing training and support for its employees. Responsibilities:
Route parts and accessories to Service department technicians. Responsible for receiving, stocking and shipping out parts from the dealership Organize all parts replaced under warranty. Ensure parts are properly tagged with repair order number and identifiable by part numbers. Perform daily inventory checks. Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. Answers phone calls, provide price quotes and other information. Provides high level of service to internal and external customers. Pull and fills orders from stock. Notify the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received. Notify the body shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered. Follows up on back-ordered parts. Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order. Maintains professional appearance. Other tasks as assigned.SkillsKnowledge:
