Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations run smoothly by managing the procurement and supply of parts necessary for equipment repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and customer service skills, enabling them to effectively communicate with both suppliers and internal teams. Duties Procure parts from various suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals for our organization. Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and availability of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts. Assist in the identification of parts needed for equipment repair and maintenance, utilizing mechanical knowledge to provide accurate recommendations. Maintain an organized inventory system for tracking parts availability, usage, and reordering needs. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to parts availability, pricing, and compatibility with existing systems. Collaborate with the auto body repair team to ensure that all necessary components are available for ongoing projects. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in equipment repair to enhance procurement strategies. Qualifications 5 plus years experience needed. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in supplier management, including negotiation skills and relationship building. Solid mechanical knowledge with an understanding of various systems related to parts and equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills for managing inventory and procurement processes.
