Duties Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories to meet their vehicle needs. Manage inventory levels through accurate stock control, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure product availability. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledgeable advice on vehicle maintenance, repairs, and automotive diagnostics. Collaborate with the service team to facilitate automotive repair and maintenance processes, ensuring seamless communication. Maintain organized records of inventory management, order processing, and client interactions using tools like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Microsoft Office. Engage in retail math to accurately calculate parts pricing, discounts, and sales figures while ensuring excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries. Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, vehicle systems, and automotive repair procedures. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with automotive diagnostics expertise. Proven ability in negotiation and sales management to maximize parts sales opportunities. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities preferred) to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Experience with inventory management systems, POS software, CMMS platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated organizational skills for stocking, inventory control, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean work environment. Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on client communication and relationship building in retail or dealership settings.
