Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto/Hydraulics Counter Operations Specialist, where you'll be the vital link between our supply chain and customer satisfaction. In this role, you'll manage the parts counter dedicated to automotive/heavy truck parts, hydraulic hose assembly, and hydraulic fittings ensuring efficient parts sourcing, inventory control, and exceptional customer service. Your expertise will help streamline operations, support automotive, heavy truck parts and hydraulic hose/fittings. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that values proactive problem-solving, mechanical knowledge, and collaborative teamwork. Responsibilities A clerk for hydraulic hoses and auto or heavy truck parts handles customer sales, hose assembly, and inventory management. Key responsibilities include customer service, hose fabrication, and inventory tracking.
Customer Service:
Help customers find the right parts and hoses for cars or big trucks.
Hose Assembly:
Cut and crimp hydraulic hoses to the correct size using shop tools.
Inventory Control:
Put away stock, count parts, and keep the sales area clean and organized.
Order Processing:
Write up invoices and take payments at the front counter
Requirements Product Knowledge:
Understand auto parts, heavy-duty truck parts, and hydraulic fittings.
Mechanical Ability:
Know how to use hose crimpers, saws, and measuring tools safely.
Communication:
Talk clearly with customers and mechanics to solve their problems.
Basic Computer Use:
Look up part numbers and type sales into a cash register or computer.
Product Knowledge:
Understand auto parts, heavy-duty truck parts, and hydraulic fittings.
Mechanical Ability:
Know how to use hose crimpers, saws, and measuring tools safely.
Communication:
Talk clearly with customers and mechanics to solve their problems.
Basic Computer Use:
