This position serves as a liaison between the Parts and Service Departments to ensure technicians receive the correct parts in a timely manner while maintaining profitability, inventory accuracy, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Review repair orders and technician inspection reports to determine required parts. Prepare accurate parts estimates for customer-pay, warranty, and insurance repairs. Research OEM and aftermarket parts using manufacturer catalogs, vendor websites, and dealership management systems. Verify part numbers, pricing, availability, and compatibility with specific RV makes and models. Order parts from approved vendors while considering cost, quality, and delivery timelines. Track special-order parts and communicate expected arrival dates to Service Advisors and customers. Coordinate with technicians to ensure ordered parts meet repair requirements. Process warranty parts according to manufacturer guidelines. Assist in preparing insurance repair estimates and supplemental estimates when additional damage is discovered. Maintain detailed documentation of estimates, purchase orders, and parts invoices. Monitor parts pricing to ensure dealership profitability and margin goals. Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock replenishment. Return incorrect, damaged, or unused parts according to vendor policies. Communicate effectively with customers regarding parts availability, pricing, and estimated repair timelines. Maintain organized parts records and electronic documentation. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted. Work may require ability to use ladders and work under RV units. The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. Expected Hours of Work Full time, 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm with potential over time. Rotating Saturdays. Qualifications Ability to read repair orders and technician notes. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize multiple repair estimates simultaneously. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Proficient with dealership management software and Microsoft Office. Ability to research parts using vendor databases. Basic mathematical skills for pricing, margins, and estimating. 2-5 years of RV, automotive, marine, or heavy equipment parts experience preferred. Previous estimating experience preferred. Experience working with RV manufacturers and warranty programs is a plus.
