Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our automotive team. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories, providing expert advice on product features and compatibility Manage inventory control using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other inventory management tools to ensure stock accuracy Process sales transactions accurately through point-of-sale (POS) systems while handling cash, credit, or electronic payments with professionalism Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs, offering solutions, and following up on orders or inquiries Collaborate with service technicians to identify parts requirements for vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks Maintain organized stock shelves, perform stocking duties, and ensure the availability of high-demand items for quick retrieval Use Microsoft Office applications such as Excel to track inventory levels, sales data, and order fulfillment records Experience Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, or automotive repair is highly desirable Prior dealership experience or retail sales background in auto parts is preferred Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, vehicle systems, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques Familiarity with inventory management systems (CMMS), POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are a plus; bilingual abilities are highly valued Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with customers and suppliers to secure favorable terms Organizational skills to manage stock levels efficiently and ensure timely order fulfillment Join us as a Parts Advisor to be at the forefront of automotive service excellence!
