Job Description
UTS Equipment Company is seeking a dependable and highly capable Sales & Service Assistant for our Clinton Township location. This position supports the daily operations of our sales, parts, and service departments and serves as a primary point of contact for customers. A major component of this position is managing and posting dealership inventory on Facebook Marketplace . The successful candidate must be highly proficient with computers, smartphones, and online platforms and must be comfortable using their personal Facebook account to post company inventory. Primary Responsibilities Post and maintain tractors, trailers, equipment, and attachments on Facebook Marketplace Answer incoming calls and assist or direct customers Assist customers at the sales, parts, and service counter Prepare and organize sales paperwork Open service work orders and accurately document customer concerns Assist with receiving, organizing, and putting away parts Learn dealership products, inventory, and operating procedures Provide general support to the sales, parts, and service departments Qualifications Exceptional computer and smartphone proficiency Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong working knowledge of Facebook and Facebook Marketplace Ability and willingness to use a personal Facebook account for Marketplace postings Excellent organization and attention to detail Professional and confident when communicating with customers Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to learn new products, software, and procedures quickly Equipment, automotive, trailer, parts, service, or sales experience is beneficial but not required Compensation & Advancement $18-$20 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. This position offers an opportunity for advancement within UTS Equipment. A successful employee who demonstrates strong product knowledge, customer service, and sales ability may have the opportunity to take on additional sales responsibilities and earn additional compensation.
