Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborates across departments to ensure welded steel members are staged correctly for processing. Utilizes overhead cranes to move parts. Occasionally uses forklift to transfer parts. Continuous improvement in support of department and company goals Supports, participates and encourages team building Provides feedback, both positive and negative, to the team, other related departments and the supervisor Promotes a positive work environment Follow all of Porter Corp's procedures and policies Work safely and efficiently Stay customer focused Perform other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience This position requires a knowledge of basic material handling methods to ensure a quality product is delivered to all customers Work requires high school diploma or equivalent Travel This position requires minimal to no travel Computer Skills Basic computer skills Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems Other Requirements Able to read blue prints Exceptional interpersonal skills Must be open-minded to new ideas and concepts Possesses very good problem-solving skills Must be self-motivated and results oriented Other Skills Safe and efficient material handling to minimize damage Accuracy and completeness of deliverable materials to customers PlayCore is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
