Tool Crib Attendant (Temporary Assignment)

11:00 PM - 7:30
AM Pay:
$22/hour
Assingment Length:
Varies based on business needs; expected duration is approximately 3 months, but may be shorter or longer.
Note:
This is a Temporary assignment (and may be reviewed at management discretion for lengthening the assignment)
Job Summary:
The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for supporting the production team and maintenance department with their parts and supply needs while ensuring the maintenance tool room is clean and well organized.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintaining the
RQH/GSP/QSP
tool cribs independently Assist with entering and updating PM's Issuing and receiving parts using the DSI system ensuring excellent data accuracy Assisting with ordering stock, performing cycle counts and assisting with sending parts out to be repaired. Inspect incoming materials and verify order accuracy Inspects incoming materials and verifies order accuracy Assisting Mechanics and Production team members locating parts Entering master data for new parts and obsoleting old data Additional duties as assigned Attendant is responsible for safe operation of manual material handling equipment (i.e. handjack) and of company vehicle when necessary.
Key Qualifications:
Candidates must have some mechanical aptitude & knowledge Should be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals. Attention to detail is essential, working with part numbers and cost data possessing a keen sense of organization. The ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, and possess of a valid driver's license is required. Candidates must be able to adjust to a work environment that is fast paced and the ability to manage multiple tasks and be self-directed. Embraces a diverse set of team members, customers and vendors. Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
