Position Overview:

The Parts/Service Advisor position consists of overseeing the profitability and efficiency of the parts and service department. Essential DutiesResponsibilities 1.Customer ServiceSales Greet customers and assess their service and parts needs. Provide knowledgeable recommendations for repairs, maintenance, and parts. Explain service options, pricing, and estimated completion times. Upsell additional services or parts when appropriate. 2.Parts Management Identify and source the correct parts for customer and service department needs. Maintain accurate inventory of parts, placing orders as needed. Receive and inspect parts shipments for accuracy and quality. Process returns and warranties for defective or incorrect parts. 3.Service Coordination Schedule and coordinate service appointments efficiently. Communicate job status updates to customers and technicians. Ensure work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Assist technicians in locating necessary parts for repairs. 4.AdministrativeOrganizational Tasks Generate invoices, process payments, and maintain service records. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts and service area. Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines. Collaborate with service technicians, management, and vendors.

Experience:

Two years of experience in a similar role is required. Management experience is preferred.

Supervision:

The position has six direct and four indirect reports.

Education:

High School diploma, general education degree or international equivalent required.

Language and Communication Skills:

Excellent knowledge of the English language is mandatory as well as the ability to speak, read and write clearly. Must be able to listen to, read and/or write instructions, memos, short correspondences and messages.

Math/Problem Solving:

Intermediate skills to review invoices and business documents efficiently.

Computer Software:

Basic Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills and interaction with accounting and inventory management software are required.

Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:

None are required.

Foreign Language Requirements:

None are required.

Travel:

The position requires a moderate amount of travel.

Physical/Lifting:

The physical demands of the position primarily include sitting/standing at a workstation and walking through company facilities. Lifting requirements are less than 100 pounds.

Vision:

Clear range of vision, including close, distance, depth, and peripheral, is required to navigate through company facilities.

Environment/Noise:
