We are seeking a customer-focused Parts Counter Associate / Parts Advisor to join our parts department at our Watford City, ND location. In this role, you will be the go-to resource for customers and service technicians looking to identify, locate, and order the right parts for their vehicles. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about the automotive industry. Prior dealership or automotive parts experience is preferred but not required. 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Pay range: $4000-$7500 / month (Base + Commission) Responsibilities Assist retail and wholesale customers and service technicians in identifying and ordering the correct parts and accessories Process parts orders by locating and retrieving inventory from stock Provide accurate pricing, availability information, and delivery timelines Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular stock checks Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts shipments Ensure the parts department is organized, clean, and efficiently managed Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to fulfill parts requests promptly Process returns and warranty claims according to dealership and manufacturer procedures Provide professional and courteous phone and in-person customer service Stay informed on current parts, product updates, and automotive industry trends Qualifications Previous experience as a parts counterperson, parts advisor, or in an automotive parts retail environment preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and locate parts quickly Excellent customer service, communication, and phone etiquette skills Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) a plus Ability to calculate pricing, discounts, and margins using basic math and Excel High attention to detail and accuracy when fulfilling orders Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Valid driver's license preferred Reliably commute to Watford City, ND We are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
