  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Coordinator to join our dynamic team at a leading autobody shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service to ensure seamless operations within our parts department.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and distribution of automotive parts and supplies to support shop operations efficiently.
Maintain accurate inventory records, routinely checking stock levels and placing orders as needed to prevent disruptions in workflow. Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to achieve cost-effective purchasing. Communicate effectively with technicians and service advisors to understand parts requirements and provide timely support to repair jobs. Handle discrepancy resolutions, including incorrect parts or billing issues, to ensure swift problem solving and maintain client satisfaction. Implement inventory control and management systems to optimize parts availability and reduce holding costs. Monitor market trends and advancements in automotive parts to ensure the shop is stocked with high-demand items. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all staff members.
  • Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in automotive parts coordination or inventory management is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members and external partners. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. A valid driver's license may be required, depending on the location and transportation duties.
