Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Auto Parts Salesperson and become the driving force behind delivering exceptional automotive parts and accessories service. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive needs through active listening and effective communication. Provide expert advice on automotive parts, accessories, vehicle systems, and repair procedures to ensure customers select the best solutions. Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining accurate records of parts and accessories using inventory management systems. Process sales transactions efficiently utilizing POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit, or electronic payments with accuracy. Assist with order fulfillment by sourcing parts from stock or special ordering items to meet customer demands promptly. Build strong customer relationships through personalized service, follow-up communication, and understanding their automotive repair or maintenance needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal store presentation, stock levels, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, vehicle systems, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Proven ability in sales management, negotiation, and customer relationship building to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty. Strong organizational skills for inventory management, stock control, order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar software. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus) to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and correspondence purposes. Experience with retail math for pricing strategies, profit margins, and sales analysis. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control tools, automotive diagnostics software, and dealership or automotive repair shop operations. Ability to handle cashiering duties including cash handling with integrity while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics to assist customers with vehicle maintenance questions confidently.
