Parts Specialist Seeking an experienced Parts Specialist in Edison, NJ with a strong background in heavy equipment parts to support field service teams and customers. This position will be responsible for sourcing, ordering, stocking, and invoicing parts for Construction and Arborist equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, organize, and stock incoming heavy equipment parts Stage parts weekly to ensure field technicians have the inventory needed for scheduled repairs Maintain accurate parts inventory for the branch and field service vehicles Research, identify, order, and expedite parts for service technicians and customers Research equipment parts and pricing to prepare accurate repair quotes Ship parts and customer orders to other branch locations and customers Process vendor bills and post invoices using internal systems Process customer invoices and ensure accurate billing Work closely with technicians, service management, and customers to identify and source the correct parts Maintain accurate records and ensure parts are available when needed to support service operations

Qualifications:

3+ years of professional experience specifically working with and procuring heavy equipment parts is required Strong knowledge of parts for construction, heavy equipment, and/or arborist equipment Previous experience in a heavy equipment dealership, service operation, or parts department strongly preferred Experience researching parts using equipment manuals, parts catalogs, manufacturer systems, or other industry resources Experience with parts ordering, inventory management, and customer/vendor invoicing Comfortable using computer systems for parts lookup, ordering, invoicing, and inventory tracking Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, field teams, vendors, and customers Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently Heavy equipment parts experience is required. General automotive parts, retail parts, or general warehouse/inventory experience without heavy equipment parts experience will not meet the requirements for this position.
