The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our parts department, assisting customers with finding the right components for their needs and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers at the parts counter with professionalism and enthusiasm. Manage and respond to a high volume of inbound communications, including phone calls, texts, and emails, providing timely and effective resolution to customer inquiries. Identify and locate the correct parts based on customer needs, specifications, and equipment details. Provide expert advice on parts selection and compatibility. Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery. Maintain organized and up to date parts inventory. Upsell additional products and accessories to meet or exceed sales goals. Manage the receipt and inspection of incoming parts shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with established procedures. Coordinate and execute the preparation of outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation. Post freight accurately to ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers. Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels and assist in the execution of comprehensive inventory audits. Collaborate with the parts team to maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service and efficient operations. Stay informed about new products, industry trends, and advancements in parts technology. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Preference given to candidates with over a year of experience in parts sales or a related field, coupled with a strong aptitude for quickly grasping industry knowledge. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic computer skills and familiarity with parts management software. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Detail oriented and organized. Ability to work in a team or independently Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
