Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Parts Consultant and become a vital link between customers and the automotive industry! In this energetic role, you will leverage your mechanical knowledge and sales expertise to assist customers in finding the right parts and accessories for their vehicles. Duties Provide expert guidance to customers on automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems to ensure they find the right solutions for their needs Assist customers with automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting to recommend appropriate parts and services Manage inventory control and parts management using Reynolds & Reynolds and to ensure stock accuracy and availability Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, upselling, and personalized service to enhance customer loyalty Process orders efficiently, including stocking, order fulfillment, and cashiering duties while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing strategies aimed at increasing parts sales and customer engagement Maintain organized records of inventory, sales transactions, and client interactions using Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word Qualifications Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments with a solid understanding of automotive repair and vehicle maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge, including automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and mechanical troubleshooting skills Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Reynolds & Reynolds inventory management software, and basic retail math skills Demonstrated ability in negotiation, customer relationship building, and retail sales management Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories sales trends along with inventory control practices Prior experience in auto parts management or dealership service departments is preferred Organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order fulfillment, and maintaining shop standards Embark on a career where your passion for automobiles meets exceptional service! $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
