Job Description

Maintenance Parts Coordinator (55-60K) We are seeking a Maintenance Parts Coordinator in the Syracuse, NY area.

Key Responsibilities :
Inventory & Tool Room Management Manage maintenance parts inventory while maintaining an organized and efficient tool room. Organize storage locations, maintain inventory accuracy, and support continuous improvement of maintenance operations. Assist maintenance technicians in locating critical repair parts during equipment downtime. Maintenance Systems & Technology Support a major initiative to digitize the maintenance parts inventory and enhance the computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Work Order system. Utilize Excel, ERP software, and maintenance management systems to maintain accurate inventory records and system data. Purchasing & Vendor Coordination Coordinate purchasing, shipping/receiving, and vendor relationships to ensure timely availability of maintenance parts and supplies. Project & Continuous Improvement Support Partner with maintenance leadership on inventory control initiatives, department projects, and process improvement activities.
Education and Experience :
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. 2-5+ years of experience in a tool room, storeroom, maintenance department, or fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and computerized PM/Work Order software. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with maintenance terminology preferred. Experience working with vendors, purchasing, or inventory management is a plus. Valid New York State Driver's License required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
