Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Parts Counter-Shipping Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of parts and materials through our shipping operations. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting shipping our automotive parts in a timely and accurate manner to our customers. We will be looking for 1 daytime parts counter Monday through Friday 6:30-3:00pm. We will be looking for 1 evening parts counter Monday through Thursday 5:00pm-3:00am. Responsibilities

• Count and package product according to piece weight at counter station;
• Visually scan and audit parts while packing;
• Ensure parts are properly packaged and identified;
• Load and stock inventory in an organized and safe area;
• Maintain production flow by getting required parts processed on time;
• Be alert for quality issues and notify management;
• Keep work area clean and organized;
• Follow and use Shop Floor Management System correctly to process product;
• Maintains an active role in quality, production, and engineering as directed by the manager;
• Adheres to all T&L policies and procedures as they relate to this position;
• Performs any assignment and fulfills areas of responsibility as directed by the manager;
• Has the responsibility and authority to stop a process which is, or is in suspect of, producing non-conforming product;
• Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and stooping;
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time;
• Reaching and lifting overhead up to 20 pounds at a time;
• Visual acuity to inspect parts;
• Use of protective items such as safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection.
