JOB SUMMARY
The Parts Specialist Counter will be responsible for excellent customer service. Extending optimal customer care and concern is a priority. This position will require completing tasks at the parts counter, such as receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk-in customers, completing all paperwork and processing it accordingly, and handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions. They will be expected to perform all related warehouse duties, including accurate counting, receiving and shipping of parts, receiving stock, accounting for warranty items, and building hoses. This person is expected to perform all necessary tasks surrounding contamination control and strongly focus on safety.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
Must have one or more years of warehouse and inventory experience, some of the experience should be in a mechanical parts environment. Must have previous experience with the on-highway industry in parts or another technical-related area. Administrative/clerical, customer service or sales experience is strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Manual Dexterity:
Regular repetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers will be required. Must be able to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including the use of a computer keyboard.
Mobility:
Frequently required to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Occasionally will stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. May ascend and descend stairs frequently, and climb into machines.
Strength:
May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of weight.
Work Environment:
