Thompson Auto Supply NAPA Auto Parts Job Opening - Parts Professional Part Time Parts professionals provide friendly and quick auto parts sales and service to customers. You will be working the parts counter, checking in freight and making deliveries. We are looking for someone to work part-time on weekday mornings until early afternoon. This position also requires a rotating Saturday shift from 8-12, one to two times a month. Sometimes you will be asked to work full 8-hour shifts to cover vacation/sick leave. If you need full time work we may be able to arrange that for the right person.

Primary duties:

Offer excellent customer service in-person and over the phone Look up parts using computers and reference books Process cash and credit card transactions Maintain inventory accuracy Necessary attributes: Team player with a good attitude High school diploma, or equivalent Able to lift and move parts over 60 pounds Able to stand for long periods of time Able to walk and move constantly Able to stoop and reach parts from floor and overhead Able to accurately select part numbers and read descriptions Valid driver's license Compensation and benefits: Competitive pay, DOE Employer matched IRA Paid time off Employee discount In this position you will focus primarily on finding and selling the correct parts to customers and ensuring they are taken care of according to store and NAPA policies. Aside from counter parts sales you will check in freight, maintain inventory accuracy, maintain the sales area, deliver parts and perform any other duties required.
