In this vital role, you will be the go-to expert for sourcing, managing, and distributing high-quality parts for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Your expertise will ensure our fleet remains operational, safe, and efficient while providing exceptional customer service to internal teams and external clients. Duties Manage inventory levels of tractor truck and trailer parts using inventory management systems and ERP software to ensure optimal stock availability. Source parts efficiently by leveraging supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, and sourcing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components to meet quality standards. Process purchase orders, track shipments, and coordinate logistics for timely delivery of parts while maintaining accurate data entry and parts administration records. Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and warehouse management activities to maintain inventory control and prevent stock discrepancies. Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast demand planning needs and support manufacturing or repair operations with the right parts at the right time. Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to identify parts requirements for vehicle repairs or upgrades, ensuring compatibility with vehicle systems. Assist in shipping & receiving operations, including equipment repair and warehouse organization, while adhering to safety protocols such as forklift operation. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for parts sourcing or order management inquiries. Maintain internal communication channels to coordinate with sales teams, dealership personnel, and external suppliers for seamless parts sourcing and procurement management. Experience Proven experience in supply chain management within automotive or heavy-duty truck environments. Strong supplier management experience with a track record of negotiation and sourcing OEM or aftermarket parts. Hands-on truck diagnostics skills combined with knowledge of vehicle systems such as HVAC, trailers, and equipment repair is helpful. Mechanical knowledge of truck parts & accessories along with internal communication skills to coordinate effectively across teams. Previous roles involving procurement management, parts sourcing is highly desirable.
